hey just noticed your blog! I'm having a bad day and I kind of randomly googled "trash zone", because that's how my mood this morning felt.
That being said, finding your site gave me a bit of a reminder - we're not alone!
That doesn't change anything about circumstance but when down try to remind yourself that it's a bit like going to your front door and seeing a storm outside - you must remember the storm will pass. Being low definitely saps motivation and the joy we get out of what should be fun activity.
So what do we do? Be mindful of the above and that can make a big difference. In addition to that, know that things can and do change. Seek productivity and new company - maybe there's a rockclimbing place or a running group or a artist circle you can join up? Or a business idea you can pursue? We don't have to stick to the way life currently is.
It's difficult to have motivation, but the more you get the ball rolling the better you will feel and the more motivation you will get out of it.
we are not alone indeed. it's just that i am used to keeping things on my own and only show the brighter side of me all the time. it's automated but sometimes tiring. the storm doesn't seem to leave even regardless what i do. it has been there for years, despite the change of shelter (or people). nothing has been right.
i sort of know what to do to end it but i am scared of going back to the way it was before, living aimlessly.. for now i try to seek solace with work and running, since the other thing i used to love doing is very closely linked to those troubling me.
