Red Tulips - the taste of Easter??

I need to get far away from chocolate! I've been eating the whole packet of Cadbury Solid Eggs since this morning and I can't stop!! H.E.L.P

To be a big fish in a small pond or a small fish in a big pond?

I'd like to be a small (medium can? don't want to be too visible) fish in a big pond. Since I can't really stay put at a place, I'd like to have a big pond so that i have more places to to go. Yes being small means u can easily be eaten by the bigger folks but isn't life like that? It's all about survival..

Kris from my Toastmaster Club said he'd like to be a big fish in a big pond.. but hey, ure only give 2 choices laa.. Mane aci..

speak out!

went to speak out first time in the Toastmasters' meeting here for Table Topic (a.k.a impromptu speech). Topic was what do u feel on watching movies in your tongue language but with subtitles? It's simply annoying! The feedback I got was to slower my speech pace.. yeaaa i know this, i talk a lot.. and fast. hehee. anyway, will be presenting my 9th speech in 2 week! I need to find a topic, fast.

one a note, i have my digital signal processing (DSP) exam tomorrow. Wish me the best :)

i Am Me

when i read my blog when i was an Undergrad.. i can see how simple life was.. how happy i was just simply being there.. it's impossible to have that life back. as u grow older, u have to hold a lot more of responsibilities.. once stepping into the real world, u are expected to be mature enough to learn and deal with your life. regardless of how prepared u were, u just had to face it head on.

i am not who i was 3 years ago.. there will always be childish-and-carefree me inside screaming to come out but i'm conscious enough to keep it back. but i think, i'm releasing it bit by bit while being with him. i'm no longer searching for myself as i AM me when i'm with him..

time to be happy and foolish again! Muaahhhh!

*side note: esok kelas stat blk!! huwaaaa~

Dear readers..

I hv a lab report due on Wednesday & an exam next Thursday but I hvn't start studying or doing anything yet. The only thing I hv accomplished during my whole mid-semester break is another 1 assignment and of course, spending $$$. Hmmmm... I think I'll be in intensive mode tomorrow and on Sunday...

I'm really grateful that I've finally found someone, alhamdulillah. He has everything I look for in a partner, nothing less i can expect. No words can describe what I felt for him. But meeting him at this junction of life, I had to face a lot of challenges and decison making. I guess since time is cruel to us and the fact that me being away, we appreciate more what we have now.

Blue Mountain - April 13th, '09

A trip which I almost forgotten to go.. Went for apple picking.. I've always hate red apples, so i normally look for green Granny Smith apples but for come reason there are none at this farm. Surprisingly though, the Pink Lady apples here are crunchy & sweet!

Next is the place I've been waiting for.. c.h.o.c.o.l.a.t.e hee~ *grinning from ear to ear*

I bought just a handful of chocs. They're damn expensive but really give a yummy taste to the buds. Would u pay AUD18 for 6 pieces of chocs like this?? That's y i only bought 6. I ate one already before taking the pics. LOL!

Final stop was Echo Point & 3 sisters at the Park. Unfortunately, we didn't get in time there so the park was closed right when we reached there. Blame it on the bus which stopped an hour for toilet stop!! Sib baik i've been here before. xde ahh terkilan sgt..

it's only 5pm but it looked like it's already 7pm kn?.. it's freaking cold as well coz it's raining the whole day.. here i can see the 'asap' (lupe plak namenyer) when i talked.. huhuu
the whole trip was nice. I left home at 8.30am and reached back at 9.30pm. But I got to meet new people and get to know 2 really talkative kids which asked me a bunch of weird questions and kept asking me to play this ' dead man spirit' kind of game.

Australia School of Business SouthCoast Trip Apr11th

After the departure at 8 (vs 7.15am as stated in the itinerary) & bfast at Shellharbour Mackers, we finally arrived at the Nat'l Park..

Initially pumped up to see the waterfall, but sadly dissapointed when we arrived at the point. Am I expecting too much after seeing a lot of nicer waterfall in Malaysia??

We then moved to the next place - Blow Hole Point, Kiama. Here, the view is awesome. The bay was pretty calm and we had our lunch there.

The Hole. I couldn't get a snap at the water when it reaches the hole. U should be able to see the water splashing up when it hit the rocks, along with the blowing sound..

Pretty steep here at the cliff.. But nice spot for lunch break. Angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa. heee~

The Seven Miles Beach that we're supposed to stay for an hour but ended up only 30mins. Thanx to somebody who had her special lunch (dduhhh and costed everybody waiting for xtra 1/2 hr for her?!?)

the First month..

I have survived my 1st month here.. what hv i done? lemme see.. classes, exams, assignments, labs, new frens, harsh wind, rain, bbqs..

how did i cope?
on studies = some stuff were pretty easy to learn, but some are very tough.. i think my brain is stil rusty ler..
on getting around = ok, thanx to 131500. i think i'll be bus expert by the end of 2 yrs here. haha!
on weather = getting colder each day, raining almost everyday.. mr sunshine, plz come out..
on love-life = stil hvn't get around the fact that we're thousand miles apart. huwaaa!! awak...... isk isk~

in short, i can survive the days but not the nights..

Dinner at the city was Sushi!! finally i can eat sushi here.. Of course b4 going in, we asked if there were any alcohol involved and yess, we're lucky!

Our main mission to the city was to buy groceries.. I was drooled over these chocolates..

Apart from the groceries.. I also bought... heee~ see post above..

Centennial Park

A treasure hunt was held by PPMS at Centennial Park on Saturday.. Sad to say but the event sucked. Big time. The event was fulled of flaws- Comm emailed was sent w/o the direction of the meeting place (we ended up lost in the park & walking all around the park), so called "techincal difficulties" caused the hunt to start at 12 instead of 11 (it's cold & windy ok. imagine if we really came at 10am like the email requested???), a lot of the clues were flying all over the place coz of the wind (tampal la elok2 sket) & finally, how can u said to us who was in the hunt, "sorry, ayam dh abis tggl sosej jek"??? We freakin' pay for it man!!

OK, paying is not the big deal since it's merely 2 bucks but all these seriously shows how bad the mgmt team was.. M'sians g memaner pn tetap ngn attitude M'sians.. aihhh..Lily pond

A day spent..

I spent my time waiting on Thursday.. Turned out that our project discussion was canceled last minute, so I was able to go for Statistic's Lab instead. But I need to wait for my fren first.. It was raining earlier so I just sat behind the wall at Quadrangle..

after the sun comes out i moved to the Quad Lawn.. just people watching..
THE stairs over to Central.. 7 or 8 flights up..

Class finished at 12.. Went to the lab at 4pm.. My wait was for 4 hours... *sigh*

huhuu~ had my so-called "tantrum" today (more like sulking..).. for some reason, every single drop of stress and feeling of missing him that have been piling up since couple of weeks ago just crashed down and.. i snapped at him. sorry dear..

whatever it was, thanx for simply being there..
